One word Substitution
In this type, you are given a statement in this sort of question and asked to provide one word that captures the entire meaning of the text.
Example: A person who doesn't like to spend even a small amount of money on important matters. The answer is: frugal.
Missing Letter or Number
In this type, the applicant must use sequence logic to fill in a word, letter, number, or digit that is missing somewhere in the middle or at the conclusion of a series.
Example: Find the missing numbers 2, 4, 8, 16, ___, 64, 128
Jumbled Words
In this type, the jumbled spelling of common words are given. The candidate is required to choose the correct order or word
Example: Third letter when AUGMENTED is arranged alphabetically will be?
Sequence Problems
In this type, the candidate must choose correct sequence of days of the week, months of the year, sequence of words in the dictionary or sequence of letters of alphabets; etc.
Example: If 15th day of month is Monday then 4th day of the month is?
Synonym
In this type, the candidate must choose exactly or nearly the same as the word given.
Example: Choose nearest meaning of "Whirled".
Direction Sense
In this type, the candidate must use his/her senses to observe directions and remember the distance covered in each direction.
Example: A man walked 3 km towards north then he turns left and travel 6 km. After some time he turned right and travel 10 km, then the present direction will be
Oddman Out
In this type, the candidate will be given group of words and have to choose the different word from rest of them

Encoding and Decoding
In this type, numbers or alphabet letters with unrelated Letters are given and each letter has an code value, we need to apply the principle to decode that coded word to understandable form

Arithmetic
In this type, Arithmetic operations like division, multiplication, addition and subtraction are missing from a question and candidates need to fill the blanks with the right Arithmetic signs (+ - / x)
